Easy Installation
Proven to help pilots avoid collisions with power lines, especially low hanging distribution lines, FastBall markers simply snap into place, then are bolted closed, for quick and easy installation from a bucket truck. (Installation on live lines may be possible. Please inquire.)
Instead of attaching to the line with spiral wire preforms that must be sized to the specific line diameter, FastBall markers use two patented SnapFast clamps to securely grip the line without damaging it. SnapFast clamps have been used to attach hundreds of thousands of bird diverters and other kinds of markers from P&R Tech to power lines worldwide.
Because SnapFast clamps allow a nearly universal fit on individual or bundled line diameters up to 2.75” with 24″ FastBall markers (1.5″ maximum with 20″ FastBall), the markers can be stocked by utilities and distributors to meet most immediate line marking needs up to 100 kV. FastBall markers are also safe to use on OPGW lines.
Available in international orange, yellow, or white, FastBall markers use the same long-lasting and colorfast ABS material used in our industry standard family of SpanGuard™ power line markers, many of which have been in continuous use since the 1960s.
